To ατύχημα της Κυρίας Ημών εν Κινδύνω θα μπορούσε να είχε εξελιχθεί σε μία μικρή, ανεπαίσθητη τραγωδία κατά τη διάρκεια του χάους που μάστιζε την Πανανθρώπινη Αυτοκρατορία εκείνες τις ημέρες, και πολύ σύντομα, θα εξαπλωνόταν και στους εχθρούς της. Βουβή και κουφή, η Αυτοκρατορία αντιλήφθηκε το πρόβλημα πολύ αργά και η ανταπόκρισή της ήταν, επιεικώς, ανεπαρκής. Κανείς φυσικά δε θα μπορούσε να κατηγορήσει τους τότε τεχνικούς, αναλυτές και καταστροφολόγους για την ανεπάρκειά τους. 

Κανείς δεν περίμενε ότι οι Σισύφιοι θα είχαν καταστρώσει την εκδίκησή τους τόσους αιώνες πριν.

Από την εισαγωγή του βιβλίου Μια Εισαγωγή στη Δυναμική του Δεύτερου Συμπαντικού Πολέμου ή Πως σταμάτησα να ανησυχώ και έμαθα να λατρεύω την αταξία.

Ο χεριστής Ομικρον92 ήταν ο παλαιότερος χειριστής στο σταθμό. Ήταν εκεί όταν ξεκίνησαν τις εγκαταστάσεις στην περιφέρεια του άστρου και ήταν εκεί, όταν την πρώτη φορά, οι πλατφόρμες που τοποθετήκαν στην επιφάνεια του άστρου κατέρρευσαν λόγω μιας σχεδόν αδιόρατης μηχανικής ατέλειας.

Χιλιάδες μέλη προσωπικού και επίσημοι πέθαναν εκείνη την ημέρα βυθισμένοι μέσα στον ζωοδότη κλίβανο υδρογόνου που φώτιζε την ανθρωπότητα στις πρώτες ημέρες της, αλλά αυτό δεν τους εμπόδισε από το να προσπαθήσουν και πάλι.

Η δεύτερη πλατφόρμα ήταν επανδρωμένη από ελάχιστο οργανικό προσωπικό και βασιζόταν στην εργασία ρομπότ, αλλά και αυτή με τη σειρά της κατέρρευσε, λόγω μιας προσωρινής δυσλειτουργίας των πλασμικών ασπίδων μίας μονάδας εργασίας.

I don’t like manga and I absolutely abhor anime. This isn’t a trolling statement. It’s just that they don’t work for me. I could list a hundred different reasons why I don’t like this medium of art, but that would take the entire article and then some.
